Cancellation & Refund Policy

Standard Cancellation Policy

Guests may cancel their reservation free of charge up to 30 days prior to the check-in date and receive a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 30 days before check-in are non-refundable, unless they qualify under the Extenuating Circumstances Policy outlined below.

Extenuating Circumstances Policy (Emergency Situations)

We understand that unexpected events can arise. In certain cases, we may allow cancellations outside of the standard policy when unforeseen circumstances prevent you from completing your stay.

This policy applies to events that:

  • Occur after booking
  • Were not foreseeable at the time of booking
  • Make it impossible or illegal to complete the reservation

If approved, guests may receive a refund, travel credit, or partial refund depending on the situation.

Events That May Be Covered

1. Government Travel Restrictions
New laws or regulations that prevent travel to or from the destination.

2. Declared Emergencies or Public Health Events
Government-declared emergencies, epidemics, or pandemics that directly impact travel.

3. Changes to Travel Requirements
Unexpected visa or passport rule changes that prevent travel (not including expired or lost documents).

4. War, Civil Unrest, or Safety Threats
Serious safety events such as war, terrorism, riots, or similar situations.

5. Natural Disasters & Major Disruptions
Severe events like earthquakes, floods, wildfires, or widespread utility outages that make the property uninhabitable.

Situations Generally Not Covered

The following situations are typically not eligible for refunds outside the standard cancellation window:

  • Personal schedule changes or change of plans
  • Transportation issues (flight cancellations, delays, etc.)
  • Events being canceled or rescheduled
  • Lost, expired, or forgotten travel documents
  • Weather conditions that are typical for the area

Illness or Injury:
Unexpected illness or injury may be considered on a case-by-case basis and may require supporting documentation.

How to Request a Cancellation Under This Policy

If you believe your situation qualifies:

  1. Contact us as soon as possible
  2. Provide relevant documentation (if requested)
  3. We will review and respond promptly

Refund Timing

Approved refunds are processed immediately after cancellation.

  • Most refunds arrive within 3–5 business days
  • In some cases, it may take up to 15 days
  • Certain countries or payment systems may take longer
